우리가 더 생산적이 될 수록 인력은 적게 필요하다. 비고용자들이 생산물의 소비로부터 배제되지 않는다면 그것은 좋은 일이다. 당신이 일하지 않으면, 기술이 제공할 수 있는 풍요로움을 누리지 못할 것이다. 더 좋지 않는 것은, 여전히 일자리를 가진 중산층이 점차 사라지고 파산하게 된다는 것이다. 더 적은 일자리로 경쟁하며 임금이 하락하기 때문이다.

구매력의 감소는 기업에도 좋지 않다. 충분한 판매를 할 수 없는 많은 기업이 도산한다. 그래서 실업자가 증가한다. 우리는 계속 추락하여 점점 더 많은 가난을 견디도록 강요받는다.

극소수의 사람들만이 잘 사는 것처럼 보인다. 기술과 생산수단을 소유한 자본가들인 그들은 많은 돈을 벌고 향상된 생산성으로부터의 혜택의 대부분을 가져 간다. 아래 그래프가 보여주는 것처럼, 임금이 하락하면서 기업의 이익은 급증한다.

기술은 더 많은 빈자들을 만들고 있고 빈부 격차를 더 벌리고 있다. 소수의 거부들이 가지는 부의 증가가 멈춘다.

낙원주의가 시행하려는 생산수단의 국유화는 사회적 정의를 가져 올 것이며, 부유층이 생산성의 혜택을 얻게 만드는 체제와 계급투쟁의 종식을 가져 올 것이다.
모두가 동등하게 소비할 수 있고, 누구도 아무것도 부족하지 않은 평등한 사회를 만들 것이다.

지속적인 사회적 평화는 기술과 생산수단의 국유화로만 가능할 것이다. 그것은 노동과 돈 없는 풍요로운 사회의 창조를 향해 낙원주의가 만들게 될 초석이다.

인공지능의 등장

The rise of artificial intelligence goes simultaneously with the downfall of a society whose economy is based on work.
The disappearance of jobs is accelerating with the acceleration of our technological progress. And AI, Artificial Intelligence is one of the main culprit.

The day AI produces a machine with an intelligence equivalent to the human brain, almost the day after another machine will surpass it and soon after that machines will have the brain power of all human brains combined.
This event is predicted to be so disruptive that some have called it the technological singularity beyond which predictions becomes largely uncertain.
For paradists this event is welcomed with excitement. It will mean that absolutely all the jobs the humans need to do could be advantageously replaced by machines. All human beings will be free from having to work. It will be a fantastic achievement.

Some express the fear that machines might then subdue humanity. The opposite is actually true. The intelligent machines will be programmed to serve us just like today's computers or washing machines. We will program them to be at our service. When it will be possible one day to give machines a consciousness, it is a feature that won't be necessary and useful to add if we want to use them as dedicated servants. We will have the choice to make conscious or non-conscious intelligent machines just like we have the choice between making a colour TV or a black & white one. The ethical question of using intelligent machines as servants will not be an issue.

The intelligent machines will help us think better and make better decisions. One should not fear artificial intelligence but natural stupidity.

의학에 있어 또 다른 멋진 기술적 혁신은 수백 만 명의 고통을 덜어 줄 수 있겠지만 전 세계의 모든 이들이 그것의 혜택을 보기까지는 여러 해가 지나야 할 것이다.

낙원주의로써, 더 이상 저작권과 지적재산법은존재하지 않을 것이다. 이것으로 새로운 기술은 거의 전세계에서 즉각적으로 공유되고 모방될 수 있게 될 것이다. 어떤 발견이 고통을 멈추고 많은 생명을 구할 수 있을 때, 저작권법 때문에 그것의 적용이 지연되고 방해받는다면 그것은 비윤리적인 일이다.

Article: Basic income versus the robots

This article is refreshing. It addresses the problem of wealth redistribution as the automation of labor creates more unemployment and more extreme inequalities (see article "the real issue the media do not speak about").
The owners of the means of production get much richer while an ever increasing number of unemployed get much poorer.

How are we going to distribute a production that is becoming increasingly productive?
Laying off people and denying them access to the consumption of an increasingly abundant production is nonsensical and cruel.
The redistribution of wealth is the most important issue right now. Many will suffer a great deal and violent revolutions will erupt (if they have not already). The longer we wait the more painful it is going to be.

The basic income, a regular cash payment for everyone regardless of employment or income, is the solution presented in this article. An idea that is more and more becoming mainstream thinking. It is certainly a step in the good direction. Many amongst the paradists think the basic income could be implemented in the transitional phase towards the society without money.

The basic income alone will not solve everything though.
It will not prevent the polarisation between those who own the technology and the means of production and those who don't. The class system with a minority of super rich owning the larger share of the wealth is already exacerbated (today 10% owns 83% of the wealth). And it is not going to get better.

The basic income might allow capitalism and the monetary system to buy more time. It won't change however the fundamental values that prevail in a capitalist society and that need to be abandoned. Values like competition, ownership, property, money, profit. It won't fundamentally change the system that is keeping us in scarcity and preventing the arrival of the abundance.

You surely know the game monopoly. What happen at the end? One player accumulates all the wealth and all the other players go broke. The game blocks. One is declared the winner but in fact everyone loses. There is no more game. The winner can't even get any more income once he has led all the other players to ruin.
In the monopoly allegory, the basic income would be like allowing the bank to give enough money to each player to play the next round and keep them in the game.
In the real world where would the money have to come from? From the rich of course since they are the ones who have it. The middle class, those who still have a job, is progressively disappearing and getting broke too as the competition for the remaining jobs is drawing the wages down. The super rich will have to be super taxed and the money will then be handed to the poor who will spend it and give it back to the rich. That will keep the flow of money circulating and the game going. The problem of course is that the rich don't like to be taxed and the poor don't like to be poor. The two classes polarized, will be at each other big time!
Notice how we are already living this end game of capitalism and the poor are taking the streets.

The basic income is a good initiative to operate a necessary redistribution of wealth and help compensate for the creation of more poverty but it is not a solution. It is a temporary bandage which might be good enough to stop the bleeding for a while but it won't be a game changer.

A real solution, the only real solution as we will see, the game-changer remedy we must apply and that is also one of the primordial action of paradism would be the nationalisation of the means of production and its corollary, the end of intellectual property.
The word "nationalisation" could better be replaced by "communitisation" since the concept of nation is meant to disappear along with the frontiers that separate us.
If the community owns the means of production, it is the whole community that benefits and not only a few.
If the means of production are owned by a minority (or even a majority), they will seek profitability so as to retrieve incomes and privileges. They will not seek to reach the state of abundance but will try hard to guaranty their profit by maintaining a state of scarcity. They will continue to do what they are doing now with the limitations of production, the protections of markets and the planned obsolescence. They will be an obstacle to the state of abundance and it will be at the expense of the whole community.

Therefore the communitisation of the means of production is the only possible path to the state of abundance brought about by technology.
Anything short of that and humanity will experience a class struggle of global proportions between the technology capital owners and the non-capital owners as the gap separating the two will only be exacerbated by the technological progress.

The communitisation of the means of production brings as an add-on benefit the ending of the class system. It will give birth to an egalitarian society where everybody can have the same access to consumption and nobody lacks anything.

It also entails the end of copyright and intellectual property. Everything, every new creation, every new idea can be duplicated around the globe instantly. The rise of 3D printing free from copyright laws will tremendously facilitate the production bringing the state of abundance far more quicker than capitalist corporatism which tries hard to prevent it.

The people revolution that has started will hopefully lead to this. The paradists are invited to bring the issue at the forefront of the debates that are taking place as it is the most critical one and it doesn't seem to be discussed yet. It will be disappointing if the demands of the protesters in the streets were to be quenched by concessions like the basic income. The lasting social peace can only come with the communitisation of technology and the means of production.

This article is interesting because it makes us realize that the robotization is taking place at an accelerated pace and is making us unemployed. It even announces the return to a "paradise" where man no longer needs to work.
But this article is also disappointing by the fear it inspires of this future society without work. "What will we do with humans when the robots will do the work?"
This fear is spread by standardized media controlled by powers who see clearly that their interests and power are directly threatened by the arrival of this new society.

This article, like many others does not address to solve the problem of unemployment.
It avoids the real issue of how to distribute a production that is increasingly automated.
We are being scared with rising unemployment while being careful not to expose the injustice in the distribution of production. Increasing numbers of unemployed are excluded from the consumption of a production increasingly productive.
We must be able to redistribute to the population the production by robots. That's the real issue today. And that's why millions of people around the world take to the streets. But it is never presented that way. Our attention is diverted by telling us that this is due to the increase of a bus fare.

The solution is very simple. And there aren't 50 of them. The solution is called "nationalization".
Paradism plans to nationalize the means of production. The term "nationalization" is to be reconsidered because it refers to the concept of nation, nationalism which are concepts that belong to the past. We should rather speak of "communitisation" of the means of production. If robots belong to the community, the whole community can benefit from the production.
Modernization must not create poor people but well-off.
There aren't 50 ways to do it. If the means of production belong to a minority or even a majority, there are no warranties that the whole community will benefit.

If the media do not mention it, it is because talking about it necessarily means questioning the system that gives all the powers to those who have the capital and the means of production.
Therefore it is up to us to talk about it. Let's open the debate in our communities on the real issue of the redistribution of production and let's make people around us understand that the "communitisation" of the means of production is not only desirable but also inevitable.

거대 산업들은 정책 입안자들을 설득하여 투자자들을 보호하기 위한 저작권법을 강화하는 로비 활동에 현재 많은 돈을 소모하고 있다. 그들은 보다 엄격한 저작권 정책들이 더 많은 혁신가 창조성 그리고 더 많은 일자리를 만든다고 주장한다.

물론 사실이 아니다. 일자리는 줄어들 것이고, 그것을 멈출 수 있는 정책은 없을 것이다. 혁신과 창조성을 위해서라면 그 반대가 옳다. 저작권 정책들은 내용과 기술을 가지고 우리가 마음대로 공유하고, 수정하고, 실험할 수 있는 권리를 제한한다. 그것은 혁신과 창조성의 강력한 걸림돌이다.

해커스페이스가 아주 좋은 예이다.
그들의 말을 따르면 "해킹이란 당신이 가진 능력의 최대치까지 무엇인가를 향상시키는 것이다."
해커스페이스는 공동체로 사람들이 그들의 프로젝트들을 작업하러 만날 수 있는 물리적인 공간이다. 그들은 자신들 역시 기여하고 있는 개방현상을 강력히 신뢰하고 있다. 공개 소프트웨어 및 공개 하드웨어를 통해, 프로그래머들, 엔지니어들, 디자이너들은 DIY 방식으로 그들의 창작물을 모두에게 무료로 제공할 수 있다.

If there is no money to drive the people to work, nobody will want to do the tasks that are necessary for society and that cannot be done by robots.

This assumption leads many to believe that the society without money is a very remote reality if not an impossible one as there will always be tasks that require human attendance or input.
This assumption is false and Paradism, the society without work or money, is not a remote reality. It is well within the reach of our generation.

First to think that a society needs money to operate smoothly is untrue.
Human beings have been living harmoniously in society long before money was created. Today there still exist remote tribes who operate without money. They are living from the abundance of their natural environment and with a tribal structure where solidarity and cooperation ensure no one is left behind.

One can argue that in a modern society money would still be required to get things done.
Not true according to Science.

Providing the task is not purely mechanical and involved even rudimentary cognitive skills, scientific studies show that money is not a motivator. It becomes even counter-productive as a larger monetary reward can lead to poorer performance. This unexpected result has been tested and proven right over and over again in many different cultures.

Money is a motivator as long as we keep the people in a survival mode.
That is why capitalism and the monetary system that supports it make sure most people don't get financially secure. Maintaining the people in insecurity for their survival and their quality of life leads them to their enslavement, to their dependence into the jobs the system needs to survive.

What will happen in a society where people's insecurity is no more a factor that forces them to work?

Scientists have already an answer. They studied what motivates people when money is not an issue, when the survival and the quality of life of the people are already secured.
They found that the people will still engage into activities that contribute to the community. For example many if not most retired people choose to continue to work without salary in charitable and other organisations.

The scientists have found 3 factors that motivate people to work and perform better when money is no more an issue: autonomy, mastery and purpose.

Autonomy.
Human beings are not meant to be directed or controlled. When people are self-directed they engage in their activities and it leads to better performance.

Mastery.
People enjoy learning new stuff and getting better at it. They will spend hours learning the guitar just to be a better player. They like to be challenged by something and master it. They will go through a lot of pain just to reach the top of a mountain.

Purpose.
People will engage and perform better if it is for a higher purpose, as they want to make a contribution.

Paradism will make a full use of all these 3 factors to ensure its stability and continuity.
- By bringing forth a society of freedom without any power the people will enjoy a complete autonomy. See World without government
- Paradism will also provide all the resources and training to help the people achieve mastery in the domain of their choosing.
- Paradism will support everyone in their higher purposes allowing them to make an even greater contribution to society.

Paradism understands that everyone who is part of the human race has a contribution to make. Everyone is important and valuable just like every cell of the body is important and valuable to the body.

Paradism will make us aware of what is connecting us all, that there is something bigger than us.
We are a part of something larger than us that we call "humanity". We are like a cell in the big living entity, humanity. We all have a role to play, a function to fulfil, something that we can fully accomplish ourselves in: we all have a higher purpose to contribute to the well being and happiness of humanity.

Therefore things will be done if they need to be done. No amount of money is necessary to truly responsible and self-motivated people.

We will soon live without disease and ageing.

Our technological progress is about to make a significant leap in medicine.
Aubrey de Grey in this TED presentation announces that we can expect to have stopped ageing and even be able to reverse its effects within the next decades. The progress that has been made in understanding the causes of ageing allow us to predict a cure for soon.

"Ageing is the most important issue" claims Aubrey de Grey "as it might kill us all".

With Paradism scientific researches will not be limited by any amount of money but only by our willingness to allocate or not our time and energy. Researchers will be driven by their own passion and will be supported in terms of resources and training.

Ageing will soon be stopped and we will be able to live forever young in a true paradise.

Paradists worldwide celebrated the end of labor on May 1st by supporting the Paradism Movement with colorful events.

Las Vegas

End of labor being celebrated in Las Vegas.

Kelvin tells us: "We showed our creative and eye catching signs to the passerby’s. We handed out flyers that artistically resembled money. And we had lots of fun doing it. Speaking of eye catching! The public couldn.t help but to stop and gaze at our very sexy dressed robots ;) The beautiful costumes were a big hit!"

Mexico

"Leveraging the fact that on the 1st of May many people celebrate Labor Day, the Raelians from Puebla went out on the streets to promote the world Paradism Day . We were impressed how many young people no longer want to work, mostly students who already are using science and technology. We talked with a young man who studies physics and he told us that it is time that all governments of the world give a chance to the geniuses to achieve Paradism, that today it is an utopia, but in a short time it can become a reality, since geniuses always seek benefits for everyone. He asked us to send him more information about Paradism and Geniocracy to his email so that he can promote it among his fellows at university.

We also talked with a union leader who was promoting the rights of dissatisfied workers and was surprised when he saw our banner that said 'Paradism, a world without money or work'. We explained him the benefits of this system of government and he said that it was very difficult to achieve this system but he supports it. It was the first time that he heard of Paradism but if people start to understand the magnitude of our work, certainly we are going to achieve that all can become happy. He added that he was ashamed to tell us that he promoted work and dignified treatment of workers and that would be better to 'Take advantage of science and technology, not work and be happy'. He was a very kind person who all the time gifted us with a smile."

Burkina Faso - Ouagadougou

The celebration of May 1 in Kama (Africa) has been a wonderfull experience for many. In some countries like Burkina Faso and Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) actions such as demonstrations with the paradism banner, distribution of flyers, meetings with the workers groups, live interview at the radio, sending of the press release to the media were carried with enthusiasm. More people have now started to talk about paradism seriously and while some are seeing it as something which cannot happen now, others are hopefull and are considering it as a possibility in their lifetime. In Burkina Faso for exemple, the president of workers union wants to meet us and talk more seriously about paradism.

Italy

In Italy, the actions were held in the cities of Turin, Bologna, Pordenone, Rome, Naples. 3500 flyers were distributed. There were rallies .In Bologna Ezael and Vittorio distributed 700 leaflets in 10 minutes (1000 leaflets in the day - some people exclaimed in joy), but in Rome, Carlo and Pasqualino have distributed 2,000 leaflets in 1 hour (a performance). There were rallies in Turin, Pordenone and Naples, many contacts were made. Some supporters have expressed the desire to communicate with us.

Everyone loves the paradism project, considering the current time, but not the old people - they struggled a lifetime to obtain their little privileges (retirement, a house) and are not ready to adjust or abandon their small privileged position. Their problem is that they are unable to look ahead and think about the younger generation. For them the world must remain like that (selfishness). How can we blame them, they are the victims of this system of enslavement... !

An amusing detail, a person wrote on Facebook that we already live in paradism, because we are already out of work and have no money :-)

England

Yesterday in London, Andreas and myself were diffusing among South Bank close to the river where 100 of people walk by everyday, most of all tourist, we were lucky as the weather was shining.

150 Leaflets were given to people in the street, we had a very good interaction, 2 police officers were walking by when they ask me what I was doing, I just gave them a leaflet, they smile to me and one of them said “I Lov the idea and keep doing a good job” I thought wowwwwwwww, was he being serious ? if so, let us keep dreaming, as we know that the biggest invention ever in technology was once made by someone, who has a dream and make it true, for example and in that case, creating robots for them to do Humans work ...

Andreas and myself collect 5 email addresses, where more infos about our next event will be sent to...

For your info, May 1st in London, UK isn't really a Labor Day cause most of people works but in fact, the following Monday the 6th which is a bank holiday here, people would not work on that day ...

Andreas and myself enjoyed the diffusion very much and we are looking forward for the next one.

Switzerland

France

The French provinces have been spreading Paradism this first May 67 AH (2013).
This is a first in Europe. In France, as in Italy and Switzerland, paradism took his place within the rallies of May Day.
In France, six regions participated in the spreading of the party of free time and the end of work and money.
Indeed, in Montpellier, a person, Françoise D, gave away for 3 hours fifty leaflets and enjoyed having many contacts.
In Lyon, five people leaded by Osiris, attended and distributed some 300 to 400 leaflets.

In Metz, the brilliant team with 6 people and conducted by Kimbangu, distributed about 400 leaflets and had the good fortune to speak with many people on paradism. The team was delighted.
In the west, some good news with Pierre S and Jean-Louis R who contacted about 200 people with leaflets.
In Bordeaux, five people led by Marc, had a nice spreading and enjoyed a 2 hours sunshine between two showers.

The team of Paris organized a march of 4 km, with 17 people, led by Jean Pierre and Michel, with signs and leaflets. They started in St Michel Odeon, bd St Germain, Boulevard St Michel. Then Place Maubert, passing in front of Notre-Dame, and then up the Town Hall where a speech was given with a megaphone by Jean Pierre. 400 leaflets were distributed, and we have published in a online Paris newspaper "Street press".

A few days before, the media team sent a press release to all the French media informing them of our actions and the content of the message: a society without work and money through the development of technology and science .
As the organizer of this event in France, in conjunction with those of Switzerland and Italy, I congratulate everyone for participating in this event that will be repeated every year until paradism is accepted in as many countries as possible.
Congratulations again to all. It is no more the time to celebrate work, but the free time to think, create and grow. 1,500 people got this message today.

Germany

For the 1st may diffusion we were in Mannheim and we were five people.
In Mannheim was a gathering from a labour union and we gave leaflets to the people and we had some nice discussions. Some of them want to look up on the internet for more information - we will see.

Belgium

A letter was sent to all the 262 Bourgmestres in the Wallony part of Belgium (the French part).plus another 19 communities in the capital Brussels.
We didn’t have much expectation. Nevertheless we receive a warm reply from Paul Magnette, the Bourgmestre of Charleroi, one of the biggest town in the country, and the president of the socialist party. He has a PHD in political science and has taught in universities in Belgium and Paris.

400 leaflets were given out and we were thanked a lot for that.

Israel

It was a beautiful day in Shenkin, We were: Roni, Adam (Nadav), Nava and I, we gave about 150 flyers, some people stopped to talk with us, everyone agrees that it will be beautiful if we can achieve it, we told them that it is our dream, and we will be glad if they will dream it with us, because some time dreams come true, of course we enjoy it very much and we miss you both.

Emirats

It was almost canceled because a rain was coming but we decided to go to our "open picnic" meeting place anyway. Eliane invited Christian, a visiting French artist and business partner, and I invited Ahmad, a Palestinian sympathizer of the Raelians. No other people came on that evening.
No rain, a nice temperature and nice food prepared by Eliane in this public garden near a beautiful fountain.
We spoke about everything but also about some ideas of Paradism and we had some printed "Paradise Money" that I put in a pile under the public garden lights. At the end Christian asked "what is this?" (about the printed money) and then said "wow, interesting!" and took one to check the website.

Australia

In Australia our main focus of our diffusion was on internet, however area’s were invited to do their own diffusions and gatherings in their area too.
The North Coast has the privilege of having the beautiful Pico who has written some very inspiring songs on Paradism with Jarel.

We set up our International Paradism Day Diffusion on the Byron Bay Foreshore Park which is very paradisaical, Pico set up a small stage and sung her very moving Paradism songs. There was a very touching response from passer-by’s who loved the Paradism leaflet we were handing out , and Pico's artistic performance and Paradism songs, certain individuals were so enthusiastic and excited by the coming reality of paradism for Humanity and many moving conversations were had by Alcy Jarel, Pico and myself (Tara).

The following weekend Alcy and I, Pico and Jarel , went up to Nimbin for the Nimbin Mardi Gras, where we went to spread Paradism to this globally known centre of freedom, innovation, and free thinking. We displayed the Paradism sign in a very prominent place and continued to have many wonderful discussions and conversations on Paradism. I can’t express the thrill I had in sharing the Paradism leaflets though the crowds on the main streets of Nimbin , it really was electric ! Later this month we will attend the 40TH anniversary of the Aquarius Festival to share more with the Community the ideas and values of Paradism. It is so wonderful to be apart of this great revolution of Paradism

Sweden

A small group of friends and curious visitors met the host, Torgny Larsson, creator of the Sculpture ”PARADISET – THE PARADISE” with its ambitious, chronologigal panorama over humanity, its gradually maturing and long aim to create a new PARADISE on Earth. The visitors got also naturally in to the issue ”where are we today?” and got the recommendations to visit www.paradism.org. No one have heard about the site before.

Torgny Larsson is a sculptor,working in Stockholm. Last year at 4th may his sculpture was simply finished without any inaguration.
When he heard of the plans for the PARADISM manifestation 1th may this year, he immediatly, proposed a simultaneous inaguration of his sculpture and, at the same moment, the manifestation of Paradism and the connected site, paradism.org. The swedish group of raelians decided to support his proposal as well as a manifestation for PARADISM including a bookstand at the municipal libraryin Eskilstuna, an other town near Stockholm.This was hosted by Kim Talman, Doctor ofeconomics.

The Paradism movement celebrates the end of labour on May 1st

The Paradism movement has declared May 1st International Day of paradism to celebrate the advent of a new society without work and money.

While many countries around the world recognise “International Labour Day” on May 1st, the Paradism movement will herald the coming of the “end of the labour”.

Paradism is a political & social system similar to communism but exempted of any form of proletariat. Paradism, a system that works without money or banks, was officially launched by Rael (www.rael.org) in 2009. Paradism is based on the future applications and use of new technologies such as robotics, genetic engineering, nanotechnology etc., used for the freeing and betterment of humanity. All forms of human labour can be replaced by robots, nanobots & computers.

It’s unacceptable to keep people enslaved in jobs that can now be performed by computers or other machines.

Workers already think their replacement by machines leads to more unemployment and poverty. But it doesn’t have to be that way if the machines are owned by the people.

This replacement by the machines doesn’t have to be at the expense of our quality of life.

The gains brought by productivity will have to be redistributed to all not the few.

Paradism answers the fearmongers who predict widespread poverty and austerity following the imminent fall of capitalism.

“There is no reason to fall into poverty with the level of technology we have now,” says Rael,. “In this era of technological progress, science should totally free human beings from the slavery of work, allowing them to devote themselves solely to personal fulfilment in a society that ensures that all needs will be met for free.”

4D printing and self-assembling materials at the service of a world without work

4D printing is the next development to 3D printing where the fourth dimension is time. This emerging technology will allow us to print objects that then reshape themselves or self-assemble over time. Think: a printed cube that folds before your eyes, or a printed pipe able to sense the need to expand or contract.

Nanotechnology and bioengineering are technologies that will contribute greatly to create a world free of work and money. Everything, absolutely everything can be built from a seed containing all the instructions for its self-assembly, which is true for every living thing since they all come from a single cell or a seed. Everything we need could be made of living materials and grow from a seed. A house, a bicycle or a mobile phone will self-assemble just as trees, plants or animals. Everything will be fully integrated in the recycle process of nature so as to produce no pollution and no waste during and after usage.
Even if our resources are limited, we can satisfy our limitless needs thanks to an endless recycling of those resources.

Planned obsolescence and the deferring of the abundance

"Having enough" is a curse to the current system.
The planned obsolescence is the technical nonsensical ploy of the consumer
society to ensure a high level of prices and keep people in jobs.

The current economic system is not designed to optimise and share the
benefits brought by technology. Products are purposely designed not to
last so as to ensure the high level of prices and turnover to sustain employment.

It is the same logic that pushes powerful countries to create wars in
order to get out of an economical slowdown and its vicious circle of
rising unemployment and poverty.
A war is a diabolical economical recovery strategy that puts the nation
back at work through the war effort and the reconstruction that follows.

In the current system break downs, destruction and wars are good for
the economy. It keeps people with constant needs and creates jobs.
They are necessary draw backs that maintain a state of scarcity and keep
the system functioning. "Having enough" blocks the system. "Having
enough" creates poverty. That's how absurd this system is.

Having enough TV's will lead the TV manufacturers to fire their
employees. When we have enough of something we stop consuming it and we
create unemployment and more poverty for all those involved in its
production and commercialisation.
When one stops buying it affects the income of others who stop buying
too. This nightmarish spiral brings everybody down the track of poverty
and can only be reversed when people start buying again. When we buy
something we give to others some purchasing power and we lift everybody
upwards the spiral of prosperity.

This system relies on consumerism to escape poverty. When we have enough
the economic activity slows down and blocks. Therefore the system aims at convincing us to want more, to grow and make more and more babies. We are creating an over populated and over polluted planet full of oversized and overstuffed people.
When the population growth is no more enough to sustain the prosperity,
this relentless system needs to destroy and rebuild to keep people into jobs. The
most powerful country which possesses more than enough creates perpetual
wars partly to bring new markets to its military and reconstruction
complex and keep its population employed.

Unable to cope and accommodate with the coming abundance, the system has to trash and
destroy to create the conditions for prosperity.
It is totally absurd.

Paradism will do the complete opposite. The abundance is no more a
problem but the clear aim.
All technologies will be used, developed and optimised to never fail, to
lower prices down to zero and to suppress jobs.

This whole system has been based on the value of hard work to justify
our living incomes. One earns a living by the sweat of one's brow. No
work, no money. To earn more we have to work more.
These core values are now holding us back and they need to be abandoned.
Free time is the new value and hard work becomes the curse that our
technology will need to address.
Our purchasing power - or rather our consumption power since money will
disappear- will not come from the reward of a work well done but from
what we are rightly entitled to. It will be our birth right to benefit equally
from what is produced by our commonly owned industries functioning at
full capacity.
The limit to the production must be set by the satisfaction of
everyone's needs and not by their purchasing power.

Money is only a way to distribute goods when there is scarcity. When
there is no more scarcity the system will create artificial scarcity so
as to continue using money.
It is insane and immoral.
The old system must go.
Paradism is the system humanity needs to create and distribute the
abundance made possible by our technology.

Intelligent material that morphs into any object

"Claytronics" is an emerging field of engineering concerning reconfigurable nanoscale robots ('claytronic atoms', or catoms) designed to form much larger scale machines or mechanisms. Also known as "programmable matter", the catoms will be sub-millimeter computers that will eventually have the ability to move around, communicate with other computers, change colour, and electrostatically connect to other catoms to form different shapes. The forms made up of catoms could morph into nearly any object, even replicas of human beings for virtual meetings.

This material could manufacture everything almost instantly. All our manufacturing industry will be replaced by nanobots invisible to the naked eye. Objects synthesised on location will seem to appear out of nowhere. They could morph at will to the size, the colours and the shape we desire.
If this material existed today, most people would be relieved of their jobs and would enjoy a technology that could provide them with almost everything for free.

The open source concept started on the internet with computer software such as linux, php, firefox... Communities of programmers have formed and delivered for free an amazing range of products that have most of the time surpassed in quality their corporate equivalent.
This is the living example of how a paradist society could function without the money as the source of motivation to create the products that fulfil our needs.

The open source community is motivated by the sheer desire to contribute positively to society. The spirit of making our creations available for free to everyone is the spirit that will drive paradism.

This is allowing anyone on earth wherever they may be to enjoy other people's creations in a "build it yourself" way.

Coming soon: A world without work or money!

“While millions around the world celebrate an international ‘Labour Day’ on May 1, our members will celebrate and promote the impending end of labour instead,” said Australian resident Jarel Aymonier, leader of The Movement for Paradism and editor of www.paradism.org, in a statement released today.

Aymonier said the Paradism Movement, which envisions a world without work or money in the near future, was founded in 2009 by spiritual leader Rael, founder of the International Raelian Movement (IRM). One of the organization’s goals is to foster public awareness of the unnecessary enslavement people suffer by going to work every day.

According to Rael, the emergence of an ever more technologically advanced society will be a true paradise, one in which both human toil and money have been eliminated. He recently answered those who think of Paradism as a utopia with the following statement: “A utopia is, by definition, something that doesn't work. Does society today work the way it is? Clearly not. We are living today in a total utopia….”

“There is no reason to fall into poverty with the level of technology we have now,” Rael added. “In this era of technological progress, science should totally free human beings from the slavery of work, allowing them to devote themselves solely to personal fulfillment in a society that ensures that all needs will be met for free.”

“Our society of forced labour, in which everyone’s survival and quality of life depends on his or her work, is becoming obsolete and should soon be coming to an end,” Aymonier emphasized in today’s statement. “A new society without work and money is already possible if humanity relinquishes this way of thinking and decides to use our accelerating technological progress for everyone’s comfort rather than for the benefit of just a few.”

He said men should no longer have to do what machines can do.

“It’s unacceptable to keep people enslaved in jobs that can now be performed by computers or other machines,” he said. In fact, ‘Give the jobs to the machines and free the people’ will be one of the slogans used worldwide by Paradists, not only on Paradism Day but all year long.”

Further, replacement of men by machines to do necessary work doesn’t have to be at the expense of our quality of life, according to Aymonier.

“Workers already think their replacement by machines leads to more unemployment and poverty. But it doesn’t have to be that way if the machines are owned by the people! In fact, the gains brought by the increased productivity could then be redistributed to all rather than to just a few.”

He said such a scenario is the key to a better future.

“The purpose of International Paradism Day is to foster awareness of an emerging society without work and money, and to counter the delusional political discourse that aims at saving and creating more jobs,” Aymonier concluded. “The only jobs we will create tomorrow will be for machines. There is no way to save the current system. What is important now is to avoid creating more friction and human suffering by leading humanity safely through the transformations that are giving birth to a true paradise on Earth.”

We are experiencing the most exciting era in the history of humanity, because revolutions are breaking out all over the world. The people are tired. Tired of politicians who think only about their own interests. Tired of be gearings of a machine that forces them into prostitution in the name of profit. Tired of spending their lives sleeping, eating, producing and reproducing without any other purpose in life. That is why everyone in the world dream of a revolution. Because people want to be happy and give a meaning to their lives, surely not to hear about economic budgets or other similar nonsense. Who cares about those? No one. And in the meantime there are those who watch television and laughing wonder what government is going to fall next: probably theirs.

Soon the revolution will break out just where we least expect it to happen. Because this planet can be saved only if there is a world revolution. We need a revolution to get rid of this political system allowing the incapable to rise to power and to use our money to build more and more deadly weapons. We need a revolution to get rid of this political system that allows unscrupulous moneymakers to pollute our seas and to poison our food, making the Earth on which we live increasingly inhabitable.

We need a revolution to get rid of this political system that has made us into cold gears in a machine and sacrificed our lives at the altar of god “money”. The truth is that we do not need those who have dragged our planet and its humanity on the edge of the chasm, but we need wise people, elected democratically, to guide our choices without nothing to impose. And we do not need imaginary boundaries drawn on a piece of paper, but a united world and a world government to take care of all humanity, offering global solutions to global problems.

And we do not need to produce money, which only fattens the few and the powerful at the expense of the many and the weak. In the era of technological progress, science will soon be able to replace the human being, freeing him from the slavery of work and allowing him to devote himself solely to his own personal fulfilment, in a society that will ensure to fulfil all his needs for free.

That is the world that we all dreamed of. It's Paradism.

Paradism is a socio-political system through which the human being finds at last his own dignity and the role he deserves. Thanks to new technologies that will soon be available, he will no longer be forced to work to earn enough to live miserably, but will be able to simply enjoy the goods which science will produce for free and which a world government will distribute evenly.

This is the only government that people want.

And you who are reading these words, you have the choice whether to remain part of the gears of this mechanism that is slowly sucking your life away or to get up from your armchair and do something concrete so that Paradism can come about everywhere in the world, creating that utopia society that many people have dreamed of but nobody has been able to achieve. Working is slavery

When somebody possesses you and you are obliged to work, you are slaves. The company for which you work possesses you. It gives you what you need to survive. As the slaves in the past had food and a shelter, the current workers are slaves.
In the past, to control the slaves, they had big fences and rifles, now, to control the slaves, they need no more fences, they have the credit. Thirty years of slavery to pay one’s house. During 30 years, you cannot escape it. Every month, you pay for your car, your high-definition television set.
The government and the companies of advertising transformed you into slaves. Are you not tired of being slaves?
People think that it’s not possible to escape it, you too think so. No, you can. We do not need to work, we do not need money. Robots, computers and nanotechnologies combined can do what you do and even better than you. Surgery is a good example: robots are often the best surgeons.
If computers can do our work, we do not need to do it. And because robots do not need to be paid, we do not need money. We can enjoy everything free of charge.
It goes very fast. The economy is in ruin, all by itself! Wise men are not afraid because they know that it will lead to a world without money, without work.
People are worried when they hear banks that collapse. When you see what takes place, be delighted!
